Privacy
What this site collects, why, and how to get it deleted.
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising, and sells nothing about you to anyone. There is no login, no account, and no database of visitors.
What is collected, and where it goes
- The contact form. Submitting /contact sends your name, email address, optional company and topic, and your message straight to hi@saileshdahal.com.np, the site owner's mailbox. It exists so he can reply to you and goes nowhere else. Keep anything out of the message you would not email a stranger.
- Server logs. The site is served through Cloudflare, whose edge network keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention under Cloudflare's own retention policy. The site owner does not receive or export these logs.
- Analytics. If measurement is active, it is cookieless aggregate pageview counting (Cloudflare Web Analytics). No cross-site tracking, no ad profiles, no fingerprinting scripts.
- AI crawlers are allowed explicitly by robots.txt. They read published content only.
What is never done with your data
No sale, no rental, no ad-tech sharing, no profiling, no automated decisions about people. Contact form content is used solely to reply to the person who sent it.
Retention and deletion
Contact correspondence is kept in the mailbox as ordinary email, for as long as any conversation might continue. Write to hi@saileshdahal.com.np asking for deletion and your messages will be deleted; there is no other copy anywhere.
Changes
If data practices ever change beyond what is described here, this page changes with them first.
